7215 Fernmeadow — Custom ADU

This project involved the ground-up design and construction of a custom Accessory Dwelling Unit on a residential property in Plano. Built on previously empty land, the unit was designed to maximise usability within a compact footprint while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic that complements the main residence.

Accessory Dwelling Units are increasingly popular across the DFW area as homeowners look for practical solutions to changing living needs — whether that's housing extended family, creating a dedicated home office, generating rental income, or simply adding flexible space to the property.

The structure features a modern exterior with horizontal siding and clerestory windows, large format sliding glass doors for natural light and strong indoor-outdoor connection, and a full interior build-out suitable for a range of uses including guest suite, studio, or workspace.

Every element was designed for efficiency, durability, and long-term low maintenance — proving that a well-considered small build can deliver outsized value to a property.
